Kai Schukowski

Kai Schukowski is the General Manager at Grand Hotel Kempinski Vilnius (Lithuania). In fact, Kai is the youngest appointed General Manager in the history of Kempinski Hotels. Under his management, the hotel has won numerous hospitality awards, and so has he. Originally from Germany, Kai graduated from the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, Dubai in 2009 and took up a position as the corporate operations performance analyst at Kempinski’s head office in Geneva, Switzerland. Kai became operations manager for the Kempinski hotels in China and developed the first Chinese luxury hotel brand, NUO. In 2013, at the age of 26, Kai was appointed Hotel Manager at Kempinski’s first property in the EMEA region at Hotel Ajman, Dubai. A year later Kai was helming the ship as Acting General Manager, leading him to win the award of Hotel Manager/ EAM of the Year at the Hotelier Middle East Awards. Despite his achievements, Kai has remained humble, caring, and approachable, and in every effort toward success, he greatly values passion, commitment, growth, humility, and love.
